Rahul Sharma
Rahul Sharma is an accomplished Kathak artist, choreographer, and performer, known for his dynamic classical and fusion work across stage, screen, and international platforms.
He has built a diverse professional career as a performer and choreographer, working across major Indian reality television shows including Super Dancer Chapter 3, Dance Ka High Fever, and India’s Dancing Superstar. As a performer, he has appeared on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, I Can Do That, and was a Top 6 finalist in the Chak Dhoom Dhoom team challenge.
Rahul has performed on several prestigious cultural stages such as Gudi Sambaralu Temple Festival, Bali Jatra Festival, Vishakha Utsav, ASIANET Film Awards, and the Canada Diwali Festival, and has represented Kathak at the national level, earning multiple awards for his contributions to Indian dance.
He has also contributed to prominent Bollywood productions, assisting Vaibhavi Merchant for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Chinni Prakash for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and worked as a choreographer for the short film Ghunghroo.
Beyond performance, Rahul is the Founder and Creative Director of Team Krishnamayi, a dance performance collective presenting classical-rooted and fusion choreography at cultural festivals, weddings, stage productions, and workshops. Through this initiative, he actively mentors dancers and develops collaborative works that bridge tradition with contemporary expression.curiosity drive everything we do.
Rahul Sharma has conducted workshops and served as a judge internationally, including in the UK and Italy, and has performed across South Africa, Kenya, Singapore, Oman, Qatar, the UK, Canada, Italy, and beyond—continuing to represent Kathak on global platforms.
Rooted in classical tradition, Rahul is a dedicated disciple of Guru Kumar Sharma of the Jaipur Gharana. For over a decade, he has trained under his guidance and has been a core member of the acclaimed Kathak fusion group Kathak Rockers, assisting Kumar Sharma as a choreographer.
